内容摘要

Dr. Annette Saddik will present a lecture on the history of The Glass Menagerie on Broadway, including three recent key interpretations in relation to the original 1945 production, with some introduction to the play and Williams's career. In relation to this, she will also discuss her role in the New York City theater community (doing lectures for Broadway and off-Broadway productions, offering dramaturgical commentary, and serving as a judge for the Lucille Lortel Awards), and how Broadway, as an institution, has changed since the first production of The Glass Menagerie.
